So a little secret...car wax.
Try to get the liquid type as it is much easier to work with.
Yeah, the green tub of Turtle Wax will work just fine too, but liquid Meguiar's or Mother's is best. You can even find it at your local grocery store usually.
Keep that knowledge in your back pocket. The stuff will remove anything from harder surfaces. Maybe 2x-3x/ year, I do the entire bottom of the kayak. Hard water stains on your car window? Gone. You get the idea. Probably half of the scratches you have on your cars/trucks will come off with car wax.
Removal from your waders is a different story. Can't help you there Tony.
