It must have been Brad you saw paddling out since I made the trek over to the pier in the dark and the thickest fog I've ever yakked in. Pretty spooky when you can't see the pier lights or any lights on shore - all you can do is listen for the waves. I was maybe 40 feet away from the pier when I finally saw the lights.

Got YT-slammed on a deep greenie around 7am in about 110 feet, but I have no idea where I was. I just got my reel back from the shop and forgot to adjust the drag (way loose), so I had to use my thumb to increase the drag pressure. Good thing the tail never took off to shallow water or I never would've gotten it up. A very nice big n' chunky tail with blood on the decks.

Soon after I thought I had a huge yellow until it started doing the 10 foot up, 10 foot down dance. The BSB brought me out to about 150 feet before finally giving in. My first ever. What an incredible fish. Thanks, Brad, for helping me get her down and for your GPS.

Good luck out there.
