Surf fishing is the way to go! Every summer my family will go camping at Carpinteria State Beach and surf fishing is the only way to keep fishing after my wife tells me that I can't go kayaking anymore because I need so spend more time on the beach with family since it is a "family trip." Where there is a will there is a way, sometimes you just have to switch rods and your target species!
