This unit came with a kayak I purchased a while ago. I never really used it because I upgrade to a newer one. I plugged it into a power source and everything seems to look fine. I don't know what frequency the transducer emits on. It's a discontinued model and is used but if anyone is looking for a cheap color FF, here you go. Asking $100
