That was the annual Navy-hosted Bay Bridge Run/Walk that raises money for the Navy's Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs. Yeppers, you can run or walk over the bridge. We did it with our daughter and 10,000 of our closest friends.
After the race we did brunch at the Coronado Brewery Company. Yum.
Meanwhile the lad went fishing in his new PA.
Many of us fish under the bridge, next year I'd suggest that you take the day off from fishing and walk the bridge! It was way cool to lean over the edge and spit.
