I remember the El Niño of '84 we were sending half day boats to the channel to fish for Tuna until Oct.

The fish were so close you could have probably launched out of Cabrillo and caught fish not too far off the entrance of San Pedro (boy you talk about a 'Zoo')!!!

The down side I remember record rainfall those years making travel on regular city streets nearly impassable due to the flooding. :-O
