If the repair facility had hired someone who thought that part of their employment required then to use their brain then, A, B or C would be correct. My guess is you got a place that didn't hire with those expectations, so your level of service was D. At my work I have had managers explain to me that "you just can't expect these younger employees to have the same work ethics as you older employees have".
