If you grab the warranty it won't make much of a difference when it's time to upgrade .check bass pro if it is not far. If it is more than 75 miles just ship the product . They have equalvilant warranty plan . Very few questions asked when replacing unit. West marine has got me on the black list . The should also have the top current model .
