It would have been a killer day to paddle long, but making bait sucked the early morning away and 3 hours after launching 3 of us collectively had a handful of micro greenies and a few sardines. If tuna ate lizard fish we would have been golden.
i only managed a couple sardines in front of the pier, nothing but lizards in the pre-dawn under the light. Kurt offered me a mini mac and I had to downsize to a #2 hook to use it. Got bit around 8:30ish in 95 feet. Broke my losing streak and kept this cute lil fellar, skinny maybe 12 pounds.............dinner.
Maybe next week offshore will be in the cards.
