I agree on about 10 knots, anything higher and it's just not fun with either the small white caps hitting from all different angles. The worse is when even knowing the wind and current will be against you on the way back. You choose to do it anyway and spend 3 hours fighting both to get back to the landing 3 miles away at a GPS speed of .6 MPH when normally you would be able to do 3 MPH without pushing hard. Can't even rest because in 5 minutes of drifting it take 20 minutes pedaling or paddling to get back to the same pot. Been there a few times, It's a Bitch!
