Looks Fancy! Congratulations on your finished build. When I hear of spiral wrap, I think of the guides that start up right, and spiral around to the bottom of the rod like a spinning reel. Your new build looks like a standard conventional wrap so not sure what you are referring to by spiral wrap?

I think most of my rods are wrapped in C thread, but D thread being a little thicker, is faster and easier to wrap so that's a good thing if one is going for functionality over looks.
