Fished the mid-day bite for one mackerel. Pretty slow and the water feels colder than the last time I was there. Took an orange and tan clouser on the first cast. I managed to lose that fly a few casts later. Too bad since it seemed to be the "hot" fly or at least the only productive pattern of the day. I'm going to build me a cart and maybe fish Cabrillo on Monday.
