Took it to the pool today and let me tell you that thing dont flip untill you got it almost all the way on the side. Practiced getting in and out and fliping it back right side up, in the water. I noticed it did take some water in. The gator hatch has some water inside the hatch cover it self. I got no idea if its normal or not as it my first kayak. Next thing up is launching in the surf and eat some humble pie
