Thanks for the responses so far

Here's a second question.

While making room for mackerel in the freezer I found an old turkey that my wife says is too old and won't cook. I know some use of you use chicken in lobster hoops but would turkey work as well. I was actually planning on using it for filler and mix it with mackerel to make the mack go farther. Your thoughts?
