Launched late around 6:30am this morning...set my alarm for 4:45, however forgot to set the ringer
. Arrived to 1-2 foot sets, easy peazy launch. Made bait no problem...9 in the hatch in about 20 min, and off to slow troll - flyline and Carolina rig.
So, between short bites and the relentless dogs, I blew through 9 baits in no time. Went back in and made 2 more baits and proceeded to try the slow troll again and caught a bonito and a dog took the other bait. Went back in a made 3 more baits and tried it again for nada. Smaller fish chewing on baits.
Called it a day at around 1pm.
Talked to another guy on the beach, and his story was pretty much the same.
Wanted to fish the night time from 12am to sun-up, however not quit there yet fishing alone...
A couple of sporties were cruising around using there side scanning sonar, however they bailed.
Didn't see any fish caught, bird activity was around the sporties and lobster guys only.
