From this spot in Nelson Bay Australia they land nice game fish. This time of year 50lb bluefin and kingfish are common. They have also caught huge cobia and marlin. Everyone just floats livebait under balloons. I have even heard reorts of fish being caught on jigs under bait schools. One half mile from here is a completely protected bay you could easily launch the yak from. I am going to be spending some time here and am definitely going to give it a shot.
