Took my son out for a couple 'firsts' today in Mission Bay. It was his first fishing experience and my first time fishing a bay (from a kayak). We both had fun but only a mackerel to show for our efforts.

I've fished La Jolla for years and today realized I know very little about fishing bays. Would love to hear what lures you like for bays? Thanks!
