I watched the Season 2 wrap up and the new season opener. It is unbelievable how they routinely go out and fish in such horrendous conditions. I was thinking about this show when were making our first attempt to leave Tortuga on the San Carlos trip. I kept thinking what a puss I was for being nervous in conditions that would be considered "nice fishin' weather" in the Bearing Sea
I've been up in the Aleutians in winter and it didn't look fun...of course, I was on an aircraft carrier. I don't know if I'd have the guts to go out and work in that year after year.
Deadliest Catch is one of the few reality shows that I care to watch. Really makes you appreciate what some people go through just to get your food.
