You can try the big bay at night. I caught a 30" WSB near the nado bridge...that same night I caught a freaking mullet of all things too. Mouth hooked them both on secret sauce marinated/frozen jack smelt.
I'm all over the bays at night, but there's (almost)no way you'd catch me out to sea in the pitch black.
