hopefully it is just some rotator cuff tendonitis......MRI is the key to ruling out a tear......rotator cuff tendonitis is treated with rest, anti-inflammatories, and sometimes steroid injections into the joint......some people have arthritic changes to the underside of the acromion process that makes them more suseptible to rotator cuff tendonitis and or rotator cuff tears due to the arthritic changes impinging on the rotator cuff that slides under the acromion process......have it shaved down arthroscopically and the problem improves and/or goes away......if torn rotator cuff have it repaired........and buy a Hobie when you can.....just .02 from an ER guy
hope it feels better soon
