let me start by saying I agree with ful-rac, buy a replacement. In the end it will cheaper and better. I will start by assuming it is hollow. If I was forced to repair it, I would custom fit a wood dowel to the inside with at least 6 inches inside. Then make the dowel small enough to take 2 layers of glass cloth. Laminate the glass on the dowel then epoxy the rod inside the paddle. if possible add a few more layers of glass to the outside. the outer surfaces would all need to be surfaced prepped really well. I think you can repair rods this way but makes a stiff spot in the blank. like i said just buy a new one.
