They were designed for yaks, the Solo at 150 pounds PLUS motor was too much stress on the struts in soft sand. New struts are a heavier gauge of s/s tubing and will be overkill. Most of us paid $400 for the wheeleze model. They should be bullet proof now, Will post after trip to baja and really soft sand. Tight Lines amigos.
