My go to halibut rod is a live bait rod. I usually grab my Calstar because that's one of my live bait rods that I have that I like the most. Some guys might prefer a faster action graphite type rod for the sensitivity. Nothing wrong with a Teramar, what's your style? Choose a rod that fits your fishing style and feels good in your hand!
