alberto or "Improved Albright". I use it on all my setups and hasn't failed. even use it (with 4-5wraps) on 50lb mono to 150lb mono connection for shock leaders. its an improvement over the unt - overhand or Uni to Unti connection for shock leaders.

the reason long range and cattle boats don't like braid is because braid will cut people off. its like one of those survival hand saws and slices through the stationary lines like butter. after losing a few rigs to it I've actually not let people fish with me on the beach if they were spooled with braid. lol.
