Pretty much my story, but I've had success along the breakwall and the visibility was JUST good enough to feel comfortable sticking close to that. Bite was off though so there wasn't any action.

Oh, duh. I know what you're talking about. Yeah, I've paddled around that and looked for some bass with mixed results. I will say there are some tank Spots hanging around the Village. The bigger the slip/dock, the bigger the fish if you can find 'em.

I almost always launch from the public boat ramp. Unless I'm down for an even longer paddle, and then I launch from Mothers Beach.

I talk to guys every once in a while when I paddle by, and I've never heard of a good bite there. Macs, and maybe an occasional 'Cuda and thats it. I think the Seals and other life in the Marina (dolphin) are keen on the area and that keeps the game fish away...
