For those of you from BWE who dont know,my 4 year old son Dylan is finishing up cancer treatment over this summer/fall.He was diagnosed with Rabdomyosarcoma last july.This was also happening at a time when I was only working about half the time due to economy(I am a carpenter) Jim and Matt(and all who participated in the tourny) were able to help us through a rough patch for sure.In fact the $2000 donation from the Steve Moyer tournament made it so I didnt have to sell my Kayak,which has offered much needed stress relief and I have since caught my personal best all around catch,a 57.5 inch seabass.
Dylan will still be wrapping up his treatment at that time so we are hoping that his WBC counts will be good enough for him too attend but that is the plan.
