Would you really consider having your child in a knockoff? I mean, kayaking and being on the water alone is dangerous enough sometimes and sure even brand name kayaks may have issues, but definitely less likely to be the case.

You gotta imagine that these knockoffs are cutting all kind of corners to shave a buck and might not have the best quality control, meaning all kinds of bad shit may happen.

I understand the budget aspect of it, but why not just buy a decent used kayak from reputable company for about the same price? I'd rather take used and reliable vs new and potentially unreliable.
