Extreme Kayak Fishing Summer Slam 2 2025 Results

Weather was super rough and rainy with thunder and lightening in the early morning prior to the send off. Half a dozen local anglers that often place in this tournament attempted to catch their own bait prior to the start. Between the rough weather and heavy weeds in the bait zone, no one successfully made bait and thus they did not sign up to participate. The wind and rain made this tournament live up to the name - Extreme.

This event saw anglers from California, Hawaii, Texas, NC, SC, NY & more. Anglers had to battle the wind and rain and some of the best of the best offshore kayak anglers from around the nation! Any angler that made it to the stage made it that more special. Congratulations to first time champion Brandon Gilpin from North Carolina!
