Oceanside question

I got a pass on Thursday and decided to see what kind of trouble I could get into. I cruised around about a mile outside to test my sonar relocation and didn't see much in the likes of fish.

My question is this...I came across a pile of lobster pots in an area and was wondering if there was any fishing significance to where they were? I bounced a big hammer around the area with no dice, but wanted to ask if I was sniffing around something with potential? I marked the area on my gps just in case.

Oh yeah, it wasn't the artifical reef areas...
