Extreme Kayak Fishing Tournament - Summer Slam Part 1 2024

Extreme Kayak Fishing Summer Slam Tournament 2024 - Part One will be on June 1st.

https://www.extremekayakfishingtourn...chedule.html#/

Since Covid (2020) the Extreme Kayak Fishing Summer Slam was reduced to one tournament. This will be the first year returning to a two-part series as it had been from 2014-2019.

Traditionally the first tournament in Early June produces more Blackfin Tuna than the later tournament in August which sometimes produces big Wahoo.

May offers some of the best fishing for SE Florida,as Big King Mackerel and Blackfin Tuna, and Mahi are migrating through, but unfortunately, the weather is much less predictable and thus less practical for kayak fishing than the summer months.

Due to high winds forecast for this weekend, Summer Slam 1 has been moved to June 8th. The kickoff party will be on June 6th.
