Yes bass were caught, but this was the poorest fishing I have seen here. Reasons were probabally multi fold. Small tidal swings, barametic pressure swings from Hurricane, tons of MICRO BAIT all over from 0-30 feet. No winds over 10 mph made for beautiful days on the water. 3 brothers made a crossing to the island, and one brother paddled it twice. Many sierra were caught too. BRING wire leaders.
