![]() ![]() The weather was beautiful and warm, launched at 7:45 and headed south out of the harbor. ![]() ![]() ![]() Worked the area in 25 to 28 feet of water with kelp stringers for a half dozen bass and one lost bigger fish to the kelp till 10:30. The wind gusted now and then for 5 to 10 minutes from different directions. ![]() ![]() Decided to try trolling the crank bait in toward shore and up to the area off of Doheny Beach to look for halibut. Worked the area till 1:30 with plastics for 3 short halibut and 2 more bass. ![]() NO big fish for me today though fishing was better than it has been recently. Paul won the money with a 24 inch halibut. We ate Links chips and some awesome pasta salad that Gilbert’s wife made. Great fun with a great group Thanks for hosting these monthly get together’s Tim

Wish I could have been there. Had to be at MBF in San Diego. I feel like I have friends north and south and sometimes I'm forced to choose. Next time I go north! Fishing was pretty slow in the big bay, but the winning fish was a pig!
