Stoked to get a Wahoo
Last Saturday I had a double strike right before sunrise in 190ft off Pompano Beach, Florida.
![]() On the deep bait, I pulled up a King Mackerel. ![]() The fish that hit the surface bait had stripes! It was no giant but broke the dry run that would have been 2 years by next January. ![]() Even though it was on the border of being a fish I would consider releasing, I was pretty stoked to get a Wahoo! ![]() After the morning bite, things got slow, with no bites on the jigs. Before the morning was over with, I did catch 3 Cuban Wahoos....AKA Great Barracudas. ![]() ![]() ![]() The fresh Wahoo gave me an opportunity to try out Ecuadorian Wahoo Ceviche. ![]() Another home run by the Fisherman's Belly! ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVG4SYm6kqE |
