Chocolate milk at Irvine on Tue.

I knew not to go...but went anyways. Promised my boy that we'll try out his Xmas gift. Water at the lake extremelly dirty from the recent rains, water level spilling over the dam. Won't recognize the shore line. A crazy amount of people out there today on a perfect weather day. Trollers all over the lake got their skunked. Only heard of two fish trolling. (30- 40 boats, kayaks, tubes) Saw a few trout pulled out by powerbait and worm fishermen. Give this lake a week or more to clear up the chocolate milk. (more rain for this weekend?)

Matt

I was hoping your report was different. Thanks for taking the time.

Aside: Irvine stocked today.

Thanks for the report matt, the water level sounds crazy, I haven't been there since our last camp trip. Is trout Island even there anymore? Sounds like from what I'm hearing, the lake rose at least 10 feet.....

Tony.

No island.....VERY limited access from shore, the guys were sitting next to their cars parked on pavement and fishing. The place where you had your tent is where the trout are schooling.

I'm fishing da vine Friday with my buddy Todd aka "re-todd".
Kayaks will allowed...but there is a lot of debris in the chocolate milk / pea green butt soup water.
I plan to be in line EARLY and be one of the first on the water as I expect it to be kinda crowded.
Will be driving a blue 160i & orange P13.

Anyone else fishing?
