Probably to fit his cooler. That's probably where you would separate the fillets anyway.

Good job, nice catch, cut em how ever you normally do............ Enjoy it how you want. That was not me outside of you in 170' using #30 fluoro, 4/0 Gamakatsu, and flylined spanish to catch three #20 YT.

I was shocked......
How hard it fought on a heavy fiberglass rod.....I have a bigger cooler than won't fit in my buick for the guy that likes it pretty perfect......what's the diff...get it on ice ASAP it's going to my cannery anyway and my gang ties are followers of Jesus.....John 3.16
