DP: Klep Bed

Nothing much in the water.
Ch71 was awesome to listen to you guys are nuts.
Squid and Ghost shrimp was having some bites.
Did anyone else get the big BAIT from the bait tank?

Well at least you got out there. Hopefully I find a few on Tues, but we'll be fishing the pipe.

You should have come out a bit further. You would have run into a small armada of yaks. There were several nice fish caught on the large bait from the barge.

Your buddy on the stealth has quite the set up.

Make sure you use the bungee straps on your front hatch, it doesn't take much for it to open and fill with a bunch of water.

I am not an expert on this but I didnt notice any CF # on your friends
"motorized" kayak. Maybe other members can give better info on this
but it is something he should check on. Gotta love those videos.

It was the first time I had it out since I put the trolling motor on. I was testing it before I waiting at the DMV for cf#


I was wondering what kind of seat that is on the Stealth? I have a crack of dawn and not to happy with it.

Check the innovations thread I put the seat in there

I might hit up DP this weekend w/ few of my buddys, but im not to familiar with DP since ive only fished there once.. How do i go about finding the kelp beds? Thanks in advance

I am not sure is that the one he went, but the one i know is.....just once you got out of the harbor, right turn, and keep paddle along the jetty, after you passed the jetty, then you will see some boiler rocks and kelp bed..from harbor mouth to kelp bed is about 1 mile.

Just look it up on google map, you will see a big patch of kelp there and some rocks.

Thanks Min, How did you do in that area?? If weather permits i might head to DP this weekend and hopefully luck will be on my side this time.

Never been there on a kayak, but on a boat a few times last years.
Caught few mid size calico..and a good size sculpin.

U guys going out this Sun or Sat? i missed the newport trip you just went, thought it was going to be rain, well...it did, but it was started late afternoon.
