Do YOU Remember?

Do you remember waking up to the smell of napalm on the morning breeze? The sound of incoming at 3 am? Seeing your buddy take one? The sound of someone yelling for a medic? Do you remember the night sweats, the night mares, are they sometimes still with you?

Today is the time to remember our brothers and sisters, some gave their all, but all gave something of themselves. We did what was asked, yes we complained, yes some of us were descarded by society, but we did what we could for ourselves and others.

To those on active service, you have our heart felt thanks for carrying on our dreams and ideals. You few who have given so much. Some of you going on tour 4 or 5 times. Thank you! May all you and your familys lives be blessed.

Today is the day to remember those who did not make it back and the thousands of walking wounded still in need of our support. Please make the time to work with a church, Heroes on the Water, Wounded Warriors or any other origanization to help our Vets and their families. May god bless us all.

Quite a few tears for my father today. He's been gone 4 years but the memories of meeting his ship returning from Vietnam back in 1972 are fresh in my mind. He's still the smartest man I've known. I'm glad I listened and learned from him.
