Newport - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Hit up Newport today tried to find rock fish in the am. But no luck. Fishfinder didn't charge for some reason hooked it up last night but no beno. Anyhow I had no bites at all. So I decided to try my luck on the kelp and did ok. Got a couple of short calicos and one bigger one. All CR to fight another day. All in all I had a great day on the water.

Thanks for report. I was supposed to go out but ended up in the desert lol. Now Im glad I didn't has fishing is still looking a bit slow.
