Cobra Navigator vs. Malibu Pro Explorer
Any feedback that could be helpful in swaying my decision. Basic use is for recreation. I'm out paddling from 1 up to 4 hours. Need a lighter boat than my X-Factor
Thanks |

I owned both, Liked my Pro Explorer much more than the Navigator. Paddled better, better in surf, and more comfortable.

I like my Navigator for stability(I fish standing up on it sometimes), but I think it is slow.

I paddled both (along with several other similar models) before making a selection a number of years back. I went with the PE for several reasons (the big center hatch of all Malibu models was one of the biggest reasons). Haven’t paddle any of the newer models since so I can’t speak to their qualities.
I’m very happy with my Pro Explorer, though my next purchase might have a bit more length.
