Redondo King Harbor Parking Info
The regular fee will be $2 per hour as before but according to Craig the Manager of the hoist and parking lots, there will also be a monthly or yearly pass available for frequent users. I received this from Craig on Friday May 30th. "Yes, we are implementing the pay stations. Probably starting next weekend. We are a little behind schedule and the city is going to offer yearly permits for regular hand launch users that equates to $35 a month? When yearly permits are purchased in January 2026 the fee is only $ 280 and these can be purchased through my office in the marina. I think the city was going to place some signage on the hand lodge stating that, but you can get the word out to the gang. Thanks." For more info contact the Marina Office 310-374-3481 ![]() And there's no reason for comments from FLORIDA... ![]() ![]()

Good info, appreciate the update. I knew the free parking situation they've had there recently wouldn't last forever...

Price Change
This morning I talked to Miyo at the Redondo City Waterfront Development Dept. She informed me of a price change from $35 to $25 per month for a pass for unlimited parking in the Hand Launch Parking Lot.
![]() I'm not sure what their charging in Florida but I'm sure ALL the kayakers that travel there from So Cal will be informed. I hear it's quite a few kayakers LOL

Yearly unlimited parking permit
Just a follow-up and details about the available parking permit.
... I went to the marina office to purchase a parking permit. The permit is a yearly pass only. The cost is prorated for this year. It breaks down to $25 per month. This being the month of June, it will cost you $175 (7 x $25) valid 24 hrs per day until Dec. 31, 2025. For myself, it will take 12.5 (7 hr. days) to pay for the permit and not having to worry about getting back at a set time. Win win! Cash only to make the purchase. Exact change is appreciated. If there is nobody in the marina office, the boat hoist crew can take care of you ***If you want to continue to purchase your daily permit at the parking ticket kiosk, you are able to have the ability to be notified via text message that the time limit is approaching and add more time if needed when using a credit card for payment Good luck and be safe! Scott
