Does anyone know if the repairs to the Coast Guard/OC Sheriffs parking lot in Newport Harbor have been completed?

went out to the newport coast guard station last sunday 8/8/10. the repairs have not been completed. had to lug the yak thru the sand, killer cardo, especially on the way back to the car after 8 hrs on the water.

OCSD Harbor Patrol said the construction will continue through 2011...shit!
