No doubt, those two are both the same species. Well done Ben! I posted it on 3 different kayak forums and you were the first to get it right. I have seen your fish photos used as references of different sites. What do you use to do your ID work? Do you have some kind of Peterson's Guide? Or is there a website?

Hey John, check out inaturalist app. Bernie showed me it and I've been using it ever since. Snap a photo and biologists will tell you what it is and it helps them gather data!
