March 13th / The Search For Ceviche

The Search For Ceviche..

Ripping current & walls upon walls of finbait today...
Dense Fog Advisory was an understatement..
Some minor boat traffic including a couple sporties, but the excessive noise is what drove me to the chutes in search for Ceviche..
(Not Johnny, but an order for the Whitefish morsels that even Halibut just can't compare with.)

This last photos os from last week just added for its color..

Way to go on the ceviche! Looks like you didn't let the fog ruin your fishing trip at all. Nice!

I never caught a whitefish before. How do you target them? Are they open year around?

What's that last fish? Looks like a species of Cichlid that I've kept in the past but obviously Cichlids don't live in salt water. Cool looking fish though.

Some nice whitefish & a fatty SG.
I hope I can do at least that on one of my first trips out. (Dying for some fresh fish.) Of course I'd prefer or but willing to be patient (baby steps).
