That's amazing. Strange it would chill out like that. Were you leaking any scent thru your scuppers? Rays are very attunded to electric fields. Was there a bait pump or some other possible source of a field in the water at that time? Mike.

Nothing more than the ordinary bait pump thru the scupper. They are an unusual ray though that is not generally a bottom fish. Might just be a feeding technique like a Remora for boats?
