seraching for ...
... and article wher some guy took a scotty mount and some PVC to make a light pole that would lock in the scotty mount , it showed how and where to cut the PVC (I know PVC is cheap and I'm in the pool biz so cut away right) so that it would lock in place , I've made the pole just not to sure about cuts that would make it fit the scotty ... any help would be appreciated ... thanks

I made one for my cobra tand. I thought I was an original.......had mine for a few years... I willtake a pic and post.. ez to trim to fit scotty mount mine plugs into a flush mount scotty.....
