Perseids Meteor Shower 8/11-12 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

The Meteor Shower Saturday night/Sunday Morning is supposed to start around 11 or so. With it's peak being around 3am, with over 60-100 meteors per hour.

I was planning on fishing Sunday morning, but I'm thinking of maybe peddling out around midnight and trying to catch a great show. Other than driving out to the desert, it's a great way to get away from the city lights and just enjoy the show. A couple cold ones, some good tunes and submerge into hippy mode!

Anyone reel like rafting up and having some beers?

We were out around 2:30 an I saw a few wicked ones shooting across the sky. We're renting a beach house in mission bay so we just wheeled 2 blocks I the bay
