Has it been windy out there?

I've been watching the weather reports and it's been showing 20+ knot winds pretty much every day from Dana Point down to LJ. Has it been that windy?

I was at LJ yesterday( I had to work job walk to do ) stoped by the launch around 10ish, hung around for almost an hour, small chop on water but looked nice not very brezzey at all, watched a few renters roll in the small ankle slappers waves, saw no kayak fishers coming in. A bit foggy in the am. saw a coulple of familar trucks parked on the street. who was there fishing??
