Easter Report - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I'm going to keep this one nice and short. I did not get my YT, but still ended up a happy camper at the end of the day. There was less than ten boats total on the water and felt like I had it all to myself out there. I had a couple really nice fish come off, but managed one medium sized one. I caught tons of rocks and bass and kept my limit of rocks along with some bass, perch and ling.

The ling came in about 150' give or take. I caught a ton of bass in 90' of water. They were spitting up mouthfuls of squid. The squid were a couple inches long. Looks like they just hatched with in the last few days

What were you using for bait? Were you mostly in the kelp? Where were you catching the reds?
