Lowrance hook 2 review?

Anybody has one running on their yak? Looking for reviews
I currently have HDS gen 2 (non touch) and looking to upgrade.
Thanks in advance!

Unless they have some major improvement in the Hook Series, I can't see that any Hook sounder is an upgrade from any HDS model. An upgrade from your model is the Gen 3

I was thinking the same thing, sounds more like a downgrade. Check out the new Elite TI units

Agreed the HDS is technically better and priced accordingly. Hook series selling point is value and ease of use.

Thanks guys!
I’ve been thinking of elite ti for a while but can’t seem to justify the cost..
I will stick with my HDS for now and learn to use it better.

I would keep using the HDS. I have an Elite HDS 5 Gen 2 that I have used for about 4 years and currently is used on my 2016 Malibu X Factor. My main unit an Elite TI 7 is on my 2016 Revo 13, there are a few features I really like on the TI but I still know how to use the HDS better.
