La Jolla - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Out with a buddy early on the 6th. Bait was plentiful and big. Trolled for about 30 min about a mile out. Got bit on 20lb leader and 65 lb braid. Took a bit to get this one in. My PB 46" and my guess is around 40lbs. [ATTACH]30828[/ Name: IMG_20251107_165600.jpg

Nice work! I haven't been out since my last report. I guess I'll have to wait until after the water clears from this weekends rain.

Don't wait too long, there are 40 plus squid boats off Solana Beach right now.
